HISTORY

2000 – Song Lo Shipbuilding Co., Ltd was founded by 3 Shipbuilding Engineers from Nha Trang University, Vietnam.

Before that, three of them joined the government sponsored project to to build the very first commercial vessel by FRP material in Vietnam, VN90 project.

Since then, Song Lo Shipbuilding Co., Ltd is known to build reliable and high performance boats to Vietnam market and achieved several successes:

2001: Song Lo built the very first fishing vessel fleet by FRP in Vietnam, Manh Ha Fleet which is still operating nowaday.

2001: Also in 2001, Song Lo built the very first Glass Bottom FRP boat in Vietnam for tourist operation in Nha Trang Bay.

In 2003: The first passenger powerboat for Vingroup was built, P19 Model, the largest passenger FRP boat built by Vietnam shipyard at that time. So far, Song Lo has been building 30 of P19 Model for Vingroup.

In 2005: Song Lo built the first working vessel for Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company, a member of Petro Vietnam.
